    65 Wiper motor

My wiper motor is ready to go back in but but I have a question about the crank position. It could be off 180 degrees from where it was when I took it out. If I put it back in with the under dash arms connected correctly and then operate it and put in the park position will everything be OK to put the wiper arms on in the correct position?
I did this incorrectly once before and slammmed the arms into the wiper grilles.
    Thanks

    Re: 65 Wiper motor

When I had my wiper motor rebuilt for my 66 I simply ran the motor to park before I put the under dash transmission shafts back onto the motor shaft. That way everything was in place.

I can't answer your question on installation but would recommend running it without the arms first. Don H.

        Thanks Guys.
I decided to bench test it again and left it set in the park position. Then I'll run it in the car as Don says with a piece of tape for a wiper arm to be sure. Can't be too careful...
