Source foe A/C Compressors

Anyone know where is a good source for trying to locate specific dated air conditioner compressors such as for a Feb 67 built car. I've checked Auto Classic Air & the usual after market sources such as CC & Zip. they're not willing to open boxes to check. Paragon, JT Piper,etc do not have anything close. Any members have one collecting dust that needs a good home? Al
