    Mecum and The Davis Collection

This morning I had the pleasure of looking at a very interesting color presentation of the Davis Collection in Florida! I'm sure all of you have been exposed to some of these beautiful and rare Corvettes BUT Dana Mecum has combined Mr. Davis's total collection of Corvettes and other cars such as COPO Camaro's into a presentation brochure that will knock your eyes out.

Mr. Davis's collection will be presented at the Florida Auction by Dana Mecum!

It will definately be worth the trip to the auction to see this collection!!!!

Simply outstanding!!!! Don't miss an opportunity to see the most outstanding and rare Corvettes ever presented for sale in a single auction!!!!!! Barrett Jackson has NEVER presented anything close to this collection!!!

And don't forget your check book! The balance will need to be in the millions of dollars!!!!!

The '69 L/88 that I owned is in his collection. He bought it five, maybe, six years ago.

I just looked at the listing on Mecum's web site, see that the car has grown a soft top, it was originally a hard top only car.

Hey Dick, did the exhaust hang down like that when you had it? I'm sure the angle was measured by David Burroughs and certified to be exactly like that when it left St. Louis!

Pipes did not Joe. When David saw the car, it was a long ways from being restored. Had an enamel paint, chrome rear spring and half shafts, GM Kustom headers and four inch side pipes, ZL-1 cam, just to name a few things.
