C1 Headlight Operations

Can someone confirm the headlight ops on my 1959.

Low beams should illuminate the two "outside" lights
High beams should illuminate all four headlamps?

That is the correct operation. I read an article years ago that said the pre production original design for four headlights had the two outside lamps illuminate for low beams and the two inside lamps illuminate for high beams with the outside lamps not illuminated.
It was soon discovered that outside lamps could glaze over with ice in the winter when no heat was being produced by not being illuminated, so the improved design of of illuminating all 4 lamps for high beams was used.
