Best place to find SAE balance Weights???

I have been searching on ebay for about a month now for correct wheel balance weights, but have yet to find any.

    I have two issues

    1. I do not have the correct wheel weights installed on the tires.

    2. I do not have the correct air stems, or whatever they are called, installed, but i do have them and can have them installed. I am running short on time, leaving next Wednesday for Kissimmee, and i am curious if there is a place that sells the weights online.

-I am really not sure how much of a deduction i will take for incorrect stems and metric wheel weights, but it would be nice to know before i blow more money having them installed. Honestly, after the car is judged the first thing i plan on doing is having these terrible bias ply tires removed and good radials installed on the car. The original gold line tires look great, but the car drives like crapola.

    As usual, Thanks in advance.

    Chris,

As far as I know no "online vendor" sells correct wheel weights for C2s. For used or maybe NOS wheel balance weights I suggest you contact Ray Wells at ray_wells@sbcglobal.net.

      Thanks!

Do you know what the deduction is for not having the correct weights, or perhaps a guesstimate of how many points would be deducted?

try a gas station/garage that has been in buisness since the 60's. they usually have a 5 gal bucket of used weights. i doubt the deduction would exceed 5 points out of 4510. good luck.mike

Take them OFF! I have a complete set of driving tires on other rims.
Don't need to be NCRS correct on the street.

I wouldn't sweat the wheel weights, work on getting 100% on OP's.
