Correct Engine Plugs for 66 427

Which plugs in a 66 big block, if any, should be hex fitting/allen plugs, and which should have the exposed square end for a wrench?

When i bought my car, the engine had unfortunately been messed with by a machine shop and all of the original plugs were gone.

    Thanks

Sorry for the confusion in the initial post, exposed hex head or recessed allen head plugs is what i meant to say.

There are a lot of plugs in the 427 block, are you sure the ones on the front lower portion of the block are exposed hex heads?

      Thanks

Hex heads are the ticket Chris. No allen head.

Ok, thanks. Im not in front of the car at the moment, but i think there are 4 on the driver's side, 2 on the passenger, one being for the fuel pump pushrod, and then 2 more on the front of the block, making a total of 8??? Is that correct?
