    67 427 ignition top shield

Is there a difference between the 427 ignition top shield(large piece around distributor and coil) for the 4bbl vs tri-power engine options? I've looked at a lot of the suppliers pictures and can't seem to tell a difference.

    Thanks

Group 9.663 (in a parts book older than 6-79) might show part number 3906150 - 427 distributor cover. I looked it up in order to see what applications were included, but my parts book is not old enough. Even if I found it, the listing may have shown a consolidation of applications. What I mean is the parts book does not always represent a duplication of the applications (or "usages") across the engine options.

What I can do is check the AIM (Assembly Manual) for 66 and 67 to see if the OEM parts listed are the same.

    Later.
