Have owned my car for a little over 3 years now and finally decided to put it on the C2 registry a month or so back. Received an email yesterday from the second owner who has Been looking for the car for 10 years or so. He Found it on the registry doing a google search. Long story short, he only owned the car for a few months in 1988 but still has every single piece of paperwork, newspaper classified ad, phone numbers pictures (including a picture of the car with the original owner taken before he bought it). A true treasure for NCRS guys and their cars. He did want to know if the car was for sale, which it is not currently. After talking with him on the phone and asking if I could get copies of the stuff, he offered to give me the originals and keep copies for himself. A true gentlemen! He happens to also be a long time NCRS member in good standing. I almost could not have written out a better scenario for finding out this info in my wildest dreams! Just goes to show you haw fate works and how finally deciding to put my car on the registry started this. I am going to finish watching this football game and send out some promised pictures of the car to my new found friend. Life is good..........hahaha

Thanks guys. Don't I know it too. Although not Tech or Corvette related, my daughters boyfriend (Her high school sweetheart of 7 years) asked permission to marry her yesterday late afternoon! Great kid (ha 23 years old) and I was more then happy to give my blessing. Hell of a weekend. Not one I will soon forget!John Seeley
