There is a string regarding the correct type font used. As I remember finding a typewriter is difficult and finding the correct font ball is a long shot. However if you can locate, your reproduction can be made to appear as it did on the showroom floor with typing the correct date instead of leaving it blank.

Hi Chris,

Here is a picture of the compressor on my 72 LT1. The date code is typed on but still I am having a difficult time making out the numbers. C _ _ _ 22?
