How long of a window do you have in replacing the Harrison radiator on a 65 corvette. The build date is June 24, 1965. Is there a date limit on how far back I could go. I have found one but the date is January of 65. This is too far back isn't it? Please help.

Re: Date code of the original Harrison radiator
The rule is 6 months, but in real life the odds of a January radiator on a late June car are very, very small.
You need a May or June radiator to fit best.

Re: Date code of the original Harrison radiator
My April 65 car had a March radiator. Why not call Tom DeWitt and get a new one dated for May? I wouldn't consider using a 45 year old aluminum rad. because if it's not already dead, it will be shortly.- Top

Agree. I should have used "1965-L78 engine option" in my post to avoid any confusion.....as the DeWitt reproduction radiators for the 1965 small blocks are readily available. Seems to late to edit. Thanks for the clarification.
