66 Holley 3367 dating, 5B3

Colvin's book on page 189 shows a date of 5A3 on a Holley 3367. Is this human error in stamping? Should that not be A53, maybe?? I have a 3367 with 5B3. If the "B" were meant to be an "8" then that would be 1965, august, 3rd shift. OR, could be an error and mean 1965, december, 3rd week.

Which is it?

first digit is the year,second digit is the month and the third digit is the week

5A3 = 3rd week of November 1965

Pancho, I am feeling really stupid right now, , duh...

So 5B3 is indeed 65, december, 3 week.

yes indeed 5B3= 3rd week of Dec. '65.......John don't worry about it we have all been there at one time or another over one thing or another.
