Paint on AC control unit face of 69

I removed my AC control unit from the shift console out of the car to replace the bulb.

The shift panel is original and in excellent condition. The AC control panel shows some missing black paint and scratches.

It appears as if the face can be removed pretty easily. What kind of black paint should I use to touch up the surface? Appears to be semi gloss. I figured I could just tape it off nicely and respray.

SEM Trim Black. Matches the original beautifully.
You can buy it at many auto parts stores. Just get the original/satin, not the gloss.
