    1969 plenum panel extension

I changed the dash wiring harness on my 1969 and then couldn't get the courtesy lamps to go out. I realized that a piece of fiberglass seems to be missing on the front of the door and the lamp switch wasn't being compressed. I think that the missing part is the plenum panel extension. I've found it a couple of places but can't really tell from the diagrams if that is what I'm missing. Does the plenum panel extension mount on front of the door and is that what presses against the courtesy light switch to turn the lights off? Thanks.

The courtesy light switch plunger directly contacts the forward structure of the door. There is no "extension" attached to the door.

Did you try depressing both plungers manually to see if they go out? Might be a issue with one of the switches themselves!

Pull the plunger back to reset it. They are self adjusting
