I just put the rear windows back in the tan '63 coupe. I've had the rubbers for about a year and do not recall the brand or vendor. The original clips are back in their original positions. The trim is not even close to catching the clips on the outside of the glass. Am I going to have to find another brand rubber (if so which brand?) and repeat this process? My blue coupe has had the trim off for years, but the rubber does appear to not be as high from the car.

Your issue is very typical with the repos. I don't know if there is a better version available or not. -

A buddy of mine has just installed new moldings and glass in a 63 he is restoring. The trim isn't on yet but I will try to stay on top of his progress and let you know how it goes.Comment

the split window weatherstrips i got from jay price in the early 90's when i restored a 63 coupe allowed for perfect fit of the stainless.mikeComment
