Rear bumper brace Bolt direction: 66JG shows opposite of 63-67 AIM, which is Correct?

On page 69 of the 1966 Judging Guide, "Fuel filler neck, boot & overflow hose" section, there is a photograph of the tie-strap securing the overflow hose to the rear bumper brace rod. If I understand the orientation of the photo correctly, the bolt is shown coming down from the top, with the flat tip of the bolt pointing toward the ground.

The Assembly Manuals (14-A3, Item 11 for 1963 AIM, UPC 14-B1, Item 11 for 1964-1967 AIM), show just the opposite, with the Bolt going up from the bottom, the tip of the bolt pointing toward the sky.

    Which is correct?

I would follow the AIM direction, make a copy of AIM page - keep with JG. If you get called on it just show judge the AIM page, normally the AIM will Rule!

Never seen any other direction for that bolt, the 63 AIM 14A3.00 (3/29/62) and 64 AIM 14B1.00 (4/3/63) both show bolt going up.
