How to Locate Ethanol-Free Gas Where You Live

Found a useful web site (courtesy of Hemmings Motor News) that gives locations for ethanol-free gas:

    www.pure-gas.org

It lists all locations in both the U.S. and Canada. I tried it out in the Knoxville, TN area and found
    it to be suprisingly accurate.

Russ, Thanks for taking the time to post the list. I thought nobody in Rochester had ethanol free. I see 2 places listed with comments for both Oct/Nov 2011. I'm going to check them out tomorrow. Save the Wave.>George

Try local boat docks as you may be surprised to see a lot of them will have ethanol free fuel available.
Ethanol is messing up the fiberglass fuel tanks big time.
Just because a gas station doesn't have a blue sticker on the tank saying the gas contains 10 or maybe 15% doesn't mean you can count on that. JD

CORRUPTION is right. This state is the pits. Never seen so many blatent corrupt acts in my life. Absolutely hate it here in this misguided state. I count down the days till retirement. Retirement house awaits in FL.

I looked at the place listed in my area, one only, and it is a bulk plant for buying wholesale, somebody needs to clean up the list.

These lists are all fine and nice, but take them with a grain of salt. The local oil jobber who supplies the fuel knows what's in it. He blended it. Call him and ask. The regional Pertroleum Marketer's Association can also confirm it. As a last resort, you can call your State Air Quality regulators.

If having non-ethanol fuel is that important to you, get it confirmed.
