Eaton Fan clutch spring adjustment

I've read on the corvette forum that the new #3916141 fan clutches engage at about 195 to 210 degrees (F) and to have it engage at about 180 degree (F) you have to turn the spring counter clockwise 180 degrees and hook it into the other slot. Is this true? Thanks for any info.....
