    C2 seat lock and latch

    I have removed the seat covers and cushions from my 67 seat frames. The frames are in good condition with only a minor bit of surface rust. I plan to clean them up and paint them with black rustoleum. Since they can't be seen I don't think it should matter if I use a gloss or flat black. The latches and locks do show however. What color or finish were the seat locks and latches? Mine look like gloss black but I am not 100% sure?
    Any help is appreciated.
