Window Regulator Repair
Guys,
I am still working on my '56. I just noticed that the geared end on one of my window regulators is in bad shape. Someone where I had some work done on the car put vice grips on it and ruined the teeth where the window crank handle mounts. The window was binding but not because of the regulator. My regulator is fine except for the teeth where the crank handle mounts. I ordered a pair of just the shafts from a Corvette Parts supplier on the west coast but they are too short. Does anyone know if this part from a '56 or '57 Corvette window regulator will interchange with another chevrolet or GM model? This is a non-power window car. Thanks in advance!
