Need to know where I can purchase the industrial type of Krylon K6313 to refurbish my C2 glove box door. I've checked all the usual places--Autozone, Advance, O'Reilly, WalMart, Fastenall, NAPA, Carquest, etc. with no luck. I travel the I-40 corridor from eastern NC To TN frequently as well as I-81 from I-40 in TN to I-77 in Va back down to I-40 in NC Any help is appreciated. Don't mind ordering from somewhere else, just need a source! Thanks!

Al, if you have a Fasenal or Granger in your travels you will be able to purchase Krylon #1613. If they do not have any on the shelf you might have to purchase a case.- Top

Grainger no longer stocks it. Fastenal is your only choice, its fastenal part
# 0682457. My last cost was $4.40 a can.

Re: Industrial grade Krylon rattle can paint
I checked ace website and they do not show stocking any Krylon products, maybe your store had old stock?
Be careful its the "good" old acrylic based paint with the straight walled cap.
If its the current retail outlet paint its the tapered cap and is NOT the same product but it does show almost the same part #, thats what is now sold in most big box stores.
If you have an Ace part # can you let us know?

Re: Industrial grade Krylon rattle can paint
only way to find 1613 is through the industrial/commercial side. be carefull and read the label on any thing found in hardware stores, auto parts outlets etc. do not buy 5 ball krylon, 51613, or you will be sorry. doesn't spot in and will wrinkle your previous paint in a heartbeat. wayne- Top

Re: Industrial grade Krylon rattle can paint
Bill and Wayne, you are both correct about the Krylon at the Ace and Nuts & Bolts stores. Not 1613 but the five number taperd cans. I bought the low gloss, semi-gloss, and gloss blacks but didn't have any adverse issues with them but i much prefer the 1613 type. The last time I bought true 1613 was at a Wal-Mart about five years ago.- Top

Re: Industrial grade Krylon rattle can paint
The can you need is the industrial one.
I tried to attach a picture but for some reason it referred me to a previous post.
So take a look here. https://www.forums.ncrs.org/showthread.php?t=85013
I am down to 5 cases now......maybe I can trade for some nice parts of Joe's inventory........maybe not. I think he probably has some put away.
Hope this helps.
