60 timing cover, Bolts or Screws??

I have a june of 1960 fuel car, assembling the engine, frame is almost done. Do I use bolts or screws on the timing cover? I removed screws from the engine 5 years ago when I dissassemled it, not sure that is correct.

Should be flat head screws. Use the originals as repro's have a smaller head.

My 60 (non fuelie) uses pan head slotted screws.

Pan head 1/4/20; pan is 1/2" in diameter, overall length 9/16" from top of pan to end of bolt.
