    Ron

The font of the numbers and letter in the VIN stamp look good to me for a 1971. But others will chime in with their thoughts. The suffix and date code for the block also look fine but that is not an area that I feel knowledgeable enough to say yes or no for an LS6.

Yes my thought exactly, there is some corrosion as this car was in the coastal area and had 80k+ miles on it
      thanks RDR

This car is green coupe and has no docs, was restored by a non NCRS guy but is very nice. I do not have pix.

Is it currently for sale on any sites or is it a private sale ?

private sale. I am having trouble locating some of the early owners but think the car is the real deal. [FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']Pete Vicari owned the car for a while . see below from Roy Sinor.
The original delivery dealer was Dealer code 34 in zone 43.

The name and Address for the Dealer was:

[FONT='Tahoma','sans-serif']Based on the limited GM information available for this time period we are unable to identify dealer 34.
Zone 43 was the ME, NH and VT area

Ron, would the car have been in Augusta GA by chance? Is it grossly over-restored?

A guy named Wendland from Miss. must have sold to Vicari around 2000 then sold at auction in Tulsa about 6 years ago. Rumor is pro Team did the restoration but I would be surprised as some simple things are not right. It is green cpe with an M40 and loaded with the small stuff, PW PB rally wheels etc. There are no documents of any kind. Think the Tulsa price was in the high 60's
