1978 corveete electrical issues
My '78 L82 four speed has a problem with the lights. My turn signals work when the headlignt switch is off, but when I turn on the running lights or head lights, they stop blinking. Also shen the turn signal is on, and the car is in reverse (engine not running) the back up lights try to blink as in a weak flash alternate to the turn signal. The head lignts work, but I have no high beams and I do not hear a click in the steering column when I pull back the turn signal lever.
I have orderd a new turn signal switch, but I think there is some other problem.
