Thanks Tim, that's good news, I look forward to the pictures whenever you get a chance.

If I remember right, your '67 is an early car, I'm wondering if maybe they kept making them the same as 1963-1966 in this area for some time into '67 production. The 1967 AIM Revision Record section shows the first symbol being a "6" ("Redrawn & Redesigned", dated 8-17-66), and the Release Date of the drawing is 5-2 (May 2nd, 1967?).

If I interpreted that correctly, then we don't know when Revisions #1-5 happened, or what they were, much less when they were actually implemented on the production line.

      Scott,

I will check my 1967 AIM and get some pics. If I understand your concern the big screw with attached flat washer is shown holding the grill at the top fo 67.

The plastic on that grill is countersunk for the screw so if the part #s are the same I suspect no difference but we will see.

        Scott,

Took these pics today showing the vent grill assembly to cowl. The top and side (at the front by insulation) is shown. The other side is under the kick panel and the bottom is also under the kick.

After looking at my 1967 AIM, I can see exactly what your talking about with regard to the 4751359 screw, page E8. When I remove my kick panels to install the correct eyelits and two remaining screws, we will see what's under at the other grill attaching locations. My opinion is there is a mistake in the 1967 AIM and it's just like the other years.

On page E8 the note box only makes reference to the bottom screw and page E1 simply states the change from the 9417987 in two places to the 4751359 at all six locations. The 359 screw pictured in my kick panel should be at the bottom of the vent grill and my early 67 uses the 987 screw at the location shown as well as another location along the bottom of the kick panel. Can't remember why I never installed them, probably because I did not have any eyelits but I saved the screws and plan on fixing them.
