    C2 Gas Fill

Does the boot on the gas fill neck attach to the body in any way? I didn`t take mine off and I don`t see any way that it would attach. Manual wasn`t any help. Thanks, Mike

    Michael -

Nope, the boot just sits there - it's not attached to the body.

Now Wayne, I think you are messing with me. My brain is in bad enough shape without seeing that. 36 gal? Mike

            Mike------

While it's not attached in any way, I think the design intention was that it be "sandwiched" between the body and the tank in such a way that a "sort of" seal is achieved at the interface of the boot and the bottom surface of the rear deck.
