engine numbers
Were any corvette, 63, engines manufactured in Tonawanda, NY? The casting date on the engine had the letter for the month then the 2 digit day of the month and the 2 digit date for the year, is that correct?

Judging guide states the only acceptable Tonawanda 180 blocks were used in limited numbers for 1964's only. Found on late production 64's.Tom Hendricks

Thank you for your input, as I was told the block in the car now was probably for a passenger car. Am on the plains of Wyoming, cold and snowy.Comment
