I ordered and have been installing an Al Knoch interior carpet kit and parking brake console for my 70 Coupe (Custom Interior Trim).
The carpet kit arrived with the wrong driver side heel pad installed (71-72) and a rubber pad over the high beam dimmer switch. The parking brake console was also wrong, covered in vinyl/leather. (There's another thread on that.)
I called and they where very nice and sent out replacement parts. (All of my orders have been placed over the phone where I'm talking to someone in customer service.)
The new driver side carpet showed up today with the correct heel pad, but still has the rubber pad over the high beam dimmer switch. The parking brake console is M.I.A..
1. Should a 1970 have a rubber pad over the high beam dimmer switch?
2. What years would have a rubber pad over the dimmer switch?
Original carpet and 2nd Al Knoch carpet pictured.
TIA,
Mike
