1967 L79 Vacuum Advance PIPE - chrome or steel? Bent like vendors, or like this one?

    Car is a 1967 coupe, L79.

Some vendors show chrome, others steel, and the JG doesn't say. Is the original vacuum advance pipe chrome or steel in 1967?

The vendors seem to agree on the general shape, but mine (below) is not bent the same way as the examples on vendor websites. Is the example pictured below in the original configuration? If not, does anyone recognize its correct application?

    Our '67 L 79 April built was steel--I think '66 L79's were chrome.

Scott, My originals, both 67's with L79 have only two bends on the vacuum tubes and is not chrome. Finish look to be zinc. Two bulb forms as the pictures show also present.

Is the vacuum advance pipe in the picture below the correct shape? I have found many pictures of the vacuum advance pipe installed, but even on the pictures with the air cleaner removed, the PCV hose is in the way.

Thanks to all for the replies,

                Thanks Gene,

I don't know why this particular part would have been changed, the carburetor is original to the car, but no time like the present to make the rest of it right.

I'm not sure the carburetor-to-fuel pump line is correct either. This car was drag raced ("B" stock) by the previous owner for two seasons (1975-1976), I suspect these are changes he made, just don't know why.

Below is the carb-to-fuel pump line that was on the car (larger line), not quite shaped like the examples I see on the vendor websites either. Looks like it may be original, but was bent to accomodate something.
