Florida meet hotels ?

Has anyone stayed at Seralago lately, if so how was it.
I stayed there a few years ago and it seemed to be going down hill, BUT ACCEPTABLE.
Any input will be appreciated.

I've stayed there for the last 3-4 meets, the staff recognize me from year to year.

No complaints, keeping in mind that it's a former old style Holiday Inn now under private ownership in a brutal, cut-throat market. Clean, safe and quiet. Try a poolside room in the front building.

I have stayed there the last 2 years. It is inexpensive and just fine. Not the Ritz, but no issues at all. I am staying there again this time too.

The Seralago is clean, quiet and very convenient to the Meeting Place of Old Town.
And above all it is very inexpensive for the Senior Fun Special.

We stayed there last year and thought it was very nice. You can get a 2 room suite at a very reasonable price. There are 2 pools and there is a little breakfast place right on the premises that was fine. We are booked there again for this year.

Cocktails at poolside in January is fine with me

We're at the Sera Lago again this year. We've stayed there many times.

Nice place. Not the Ritz Carlton, but way more than just "acceptable" IMHO.

Has a pool. Has a restaurant. Has a little convenience store where you can buy snacks, newspapers, and other sundries.

AND, at $35.00 per night, it's hard to beat.

That being said, now that I see that Joe Ray and Mike Ward are staying there, I might move.
