To the best of my current understanding, there are a total of six bolts holding the battery tray on C60 cars. For 1965-1967, that bolt is GM 9422606, and the washer is 3728666.
I have what I think are the original six bolts to the '67 I'm working on, one with threads too corroded to re-use, all Grade 2 indented hex with "E" headmark, 5/16-18 x 23/32" long, plus one that looks very similar except just slightly longer, has three circles for the headmark, exactly 3/4" long. I'm not sure where this oddball goes yet, it doesn't match anything else I have so far. They were pictured beginning in post #15 of the following thread: C2 front sway bar / stabilizer bar Brackets, Bushings & Bolts (never mind the thread title).
I have one surviving washer from the battery tray location, also shown in the above thread. It was fairly rusted, I think it was black under the rust, but I can't be sure.- Top

Re: 67 AC battery tray bolts
thanks for the reply Scott. I went through a bag of saved bolts marked battery tray and found 4 of the bolts and washers like you posted in another thread, I posted a photo but It's not that clear, and two other bolts in the same bag with a anchor headmark. do you know if there is a supplier that makes the 1" diameter with the 5/16" center and 1/8 " thick washer?

The LIC C60 battery tray "kit" (bolts and washers, LIC 27-06B) has washers that are very close to my surviving original. The bolts are wrong, but the washers are right. 11/32" ID, 1" OD, 1/8" thick (black phos). The only difference I can see between them is that the LIC washer somehow looks "new", while in a side-by-side comparison, my original has that hard to pinpoint, but positively medieval appearance that most of the original fasteners seem to have- Top

Re: 67 AC battery tray bolts
Good Evening Craig,
This subject has come up a few times before and those threads/posts can easily be found in the archives. All great information but they never completely answered my research questions about these same screws you're referring to. My originals were missing when I bought my '66 L-36 with AC. This led me to this research. I think the best way for me to pass my research along to you is to concentrate on the battery tray screws first then later we can all discuss those thick washers found under these screws.
First I'm attaching the AIM C-60 AC battery tray pages from '64-'67 showing these tray-to-frame screws. Sorry, I don't have a '63 AIM. Would someone please post this page from the '63 AIM? Then I'll post a few shots of the two varieties of the screws I've seen.
Note that in '64 the tray-to-frame screw is #171114. GM Engineering Standards Manual shows this fine thread screw as 5/16" - 24 X 3/4" cad or zinc. This screw then changed to #9422606 in '65 and remained that part number for '66 and '67. GM Engineering Standards shows this screw as coarse thread 5/16" - 18 X 3/4" phosphate coated.
Now let's open the can of worms. I can't give you examples for '63 or '64 air conditioned cars but I've sampled numerous '65 AC cars and I've only heard original '65 screws reported as fine thread 5/16" - 24 X 3/4" dark phosphate coated showing a recessed hex head with a head mark "D" surrounded by 3 rings like a bullseye. This screw shows up throughout '66 as well. A good friend of mine up in Canada has his '66 showing the fine thread "D" head mark screws. His car's VIN is 600 cars after mine built early December '65. I've chosen the fine thread "D" head mark screws for my car. Very grateful to narrow my search down to an original example.
Another Corvette brother of mine down in Louisiana has a very original February built '67 AC L-36 coupe showing his tray-to-frame screws just as GM Engineering Standards state: Dark phosphate coated coarse thread 5/16" - 18 X 3/4" recessed hex head with an "E" head mark grade 2 no lines.
This is what I've observed so far. I'd assume that during the '66 production year these screws changed from fine thread to coarse thread as those in '67? But there may be a mix throughout '65-'67? Craig, I feel you'd be safe choosing the "E" head mark coarse threaded 5/16" - 18 X 3/4" screw for your '67. Consideration should be given to what thread type screws were removed from your frame. Use the same type otherwise cross-threading will occur in this very thin frame wall. Sounds like you're doing your homework. Check out the archives. Good info there. Let me know if you want to discuss those thick washers. No mystery to those. Mike
