Cork/Rubber Glass Bedding Compound

Looking for a place to buy some original style cork/rubber window bedding compound.

The original material used around the midyear vent windows is the cork/rubber "stuff" with a cloth backing.

Anybody have a source to buy 6' +/- of the correct material?

Proper nomenclature used to be glass tape. 3M is/was one of the manufacturers. I came in two thicknesses. You should be able to find it at an auto paint jobber, or an older glass shop.

I tried the local glass shop. All they have is the rubber "stuff".

Didn't think of a paint place. I'll check a few out.

I found some on EBAY, advertised as the cork/rubber material, but it's $50.00---$60.00 + for a huge roll of the stuff.
