    54 steering wheel finish

    Recommendations for 54 (white with red ctr spoke)finish?
    The wheel appears to be a black soft composite with a soft (easily) sandable finish. Considering Lacquer or enamel. Assume finish matches dash white and red matches interior red. Amount of gloss recommended? Thanks for input!

      The steering material is black.
      I v groove all the cracks and fill them with a 2 part epoxy
      I sand that smooth and ready the entire wheel for primer.
      Wheel was two tone - white and red and glossy

      Triple Diamond Award 2012, Gold Concourse Award 2012, Regional and National Top Flight 2014
      1954 Corvette #3666 - "The Blue Devil" - Pennant Blue - restoration started
      1957 Corvette - FI 3 sp - Black and Silver
