    15x5.5 riveted wheels for discs?

I have a set of riveted C2 rallies with K-1-5, 3 (VALVE STEM) 31 FI markings. And A31 near the bolt pattern.

They use the early narrower rally rings and caps.

In the past I have been told they were catalog wheels. Are they Kelsey Hayes?

Any info on these would be appreciated.

KH logo should be inside the rim part.

No KH. Only a K with numbers all on the outerside face.

I am about to blast them. The paint is too thick on the inside rim to show any markings.

"FI" wheels were used on '67-'70 passenger cars and station wagons; those are probably Service replacements, as they were made at the Romulus K-H plant in March, 1975.

          Michael,

"FI" wheels are 15" by 6" and should be stamped "15X6JK" and have an offset is 0.06" and according "1965-69 Chevrolet by the numbers" were first used on 1969 Chevrolets w/rally wheels and disc brakes. As John stated there are dated March 1975 (actually March 31, 1975).

The 63-64 Corvette steel wheels are 15" by 5 1/2" K (for drum brakes) with an offset of 0.44". The 65-66 Corvette steel wheels are 15" by 5 1/2" JK (for disc brakes) with an offset of 0.44". The 67 Corvette & Chevrolet steel rally wheels (for disc brakes) are 15" by 6" JK with an offset of 0.06" (GM # 3901698 in my April 1967 Chevrolet Parts Catalog).

GM # 3901698 (stamped "DC" and/or "YS" ???) was replaced with GM # 3968773 (stamped "FI" and possibly "YS" ???) in July 1972 as per Chevrolet Parts History,

          Dave

Thanks for the detailed info. I know I can count on you guys for the hard facts.

My 63 was converted to factory 4 wheel discs by a previous owner. These wheels were on it. They came with the proper late 63 hubcap and a set of rally rings with Corvette rally center caps. I guess they are 6 inch instead of 5.5.

These wheels do not have the bumps on the outside of the inner wheel ring for moon type hubcaps. So I thought the were some type of Corvette specific wheel.

              Michael,

They are service replacement rally's for 1967 and other full size Chevy's with the correct offset (.060) like John and others posted. I am not sure how they hold a corvette hubcap so be careful as they are ment for trim rings and caps.
