Paint Color

Does anyone know where I can find a paint chart and the paint for the interior of my 67 convertible. I have the dark saddle interior but there seems to be different shades of dark saddle and some are glossier than others. I want to repaint the dash, shifter console, inner front window trim, interior trim panels(behind the seats), etc. with the original shades of saddle and proper paintand finish.

This 1967 chart details which interior parts are low gloss, which are high gloss, and the Ditzler paint code for each color. I found this in the archives a while back, not sure what book it's from or the original poster (maybe Wayne Midkiff?). It's not easy to read, maybe someone else here can post a larger/clearer copy.

Scott -- chart you show wasn't from me. I attach the '67 interior refinish color chart that I have (from Chevrolet Service News) below.

As far as actual color chips, I only have them for 1965, where there are Corvette Medium Dark Saddle (flat), Dupont code 9190-LH, and Corvette Medium Saddle (flat), Dupont 9222-LH.

Note that flat requires addition of 2 oz. Dupont #4528 Flattening Compound to a pint of unreduced color.

My first car was a white/saddle L79 convertible; took color pics back in 1968 and you'd swear there were 4 different saddle shades, depending on what surface it was sprayed.

Thanks for the link.
I am having difficulty in finding the paint codes for the interior paints.
I must be doing something wrong. Where do you find the interior paint codes on the autocolor library website.

Scott,
The chart you posted is exactly what I was looking for. You are right it is very difficult ot read. Perhaps someone will recognize the source and either post the source or blow up the chart and attach it for all of us to be able to use.
