    67 K19 vacuum hose routing

67 4 speed Base motor car. Two issues:
    1) There is a vacuum outlet at the base of the carb, right (passenger) side, just aft of the front carb to intake mounting boss. It seems to be a different OD than anything else in the system. Where does that feed to?

    2) The mixture control valve on the right side of the motor has a small outlet 1/8" OD. If I look at the AIM (K19 page A4) hose 8 appears in View A to go from the fitting on the mixture valve to the vacuum can on the distributor. In the larger view, (also hose 8) it appears to go from the mixture valve to the vacuum fitting on the front of the carb, just inboard from the right front carb mount and to the left of the other vacuum fitting that is there. It can't do both, unless there is a "T", and there is no call out or indication for that. All three of those fittings are the same OD, and a smaller OD than the fitting in (1) above.

    What goes where?

    HELP!!!!!!!

    Thanks for your help!

Mike, my aim indicates the centermost vacuum fitting on the baseplate of the carb goes to the AIR diverter valve, tne one in front towards the pass side goes to the choke pull-off and the one on the pass side goes to the vacuum advance can. I'm basing that on the L36 K-19 as the picture is much more clear on my AIM on the L-36 than it is on the 327 engine. The L-36 also shows an inline splice between the carb and the vacuum advance. That could be where the size transition is picked up. Layout wise, all the K-19 systems were generally the same design in '67.

I have a 67 300 HP K-19 car. I have lots of pictures of the K-19 system on my car. The carb is a Holley list 3814 with the large tube on the rear passenger side and the PCV tube on the rear of the base. I have all the numbers off my K-19 system. Email me if I can help. Dale
