'62 Door Panel carpet replacement

The carpet was replaced in my '62 many years ago, before there was a correct Fawn Beige color, I think. It's in excellent shape, but I am replacing it with the the correct-looking carpet.

Is it possible to replace the carpet in the door panels? If so, what is the drill? I hope I don't need to buy new door panels to get the right carpet.

Here is a pic of the back of one panel. Does this look like an original or replacement? It has the newer, wrong carpet. How can I tell if the panel is original or not? Thanks much.

Here are some photos of the backside of my '62 D/S door panel. Photos 2 & 3 are a close up of the center bottom edge. You can see the carpeting is sewn to the vinyl. If you have a heavy duty sewing machine the carpeting could be replaced. Replacement panels are around $350 and up depending how complete they are. I would check with an auto upholstery shop and get a price from it for replacing the carpet. Your panel looks like my original but I can't give you a definitive answer as I have never seen a replacement up close.
