    Power Steering Pump Rebuild

    I made one of the biggest mistakes in a disassembly, I failed to take enough pictures. The pump ring on one face has what I will call half an arrow cast into the side of it. Can anyone tell me if this face should point toward the front (pulley side) or rear (outlet side) of the pump? I've attached a picture for clarification.
