Feature Your Car on the Cover of The Restorer

Just in time for the holidays, have your car featured on the cover of The Restorer...if it would be easier to pay via paypal, contact me directly restorereditor@ncrs.org

Vinnie, Great idea. I really treasurer my copy of the Restorer with our Silver 1966 Corvette on the cover.

Scott...I guess I should have mentioned where the idea came from...

I did give you full credit for the idea when I presented it to the Board of Directors at the meeting in Novi when it was proposed...

What you see pictured here is the ad that will be in The Driveline and also will be used as a filler in The Restorer when needed...

I think idea is dumb, ncrs should pick a picture out of those presented and put it on for free, a person has to think their car is pretty special and so much better than others, not to mention your ego, to pay $75 for a cover shot....if I offend you such is life....my opinion only.

              Mike,
NCRS is offering it's members an opportunity to get a non published "Restorer" cover page featuring their Corvette. The $75 fee is a donation to the NCRS Foundation. Is it for everyone, I don't think so. But I for one think it's a great idea and those who choose to take advantage of this offer do so because they think its great way to show off their Corvette. I should also mention that Vinnie is putting alot of time and effort to make this happen.

There are many ways to support the NCRS. This one is a win win for the organization and the members, thanks Vinnie. JMHO

                    Mike,

It's a private cover only sent to the member that requested the service. Not on a published Restorer cover.

It's like having your car photo shopped/painted against the St. Louis factory brick wall for someone to put in their office.

Re: Feature Your Car on the Cover of The Restorer

I agree that this is a nice idea and one that could generate revenue. Thanks Vinnie!

I know that when our sponsored Top Alcohol Funny Car was featured on the cover of National Dragster last year, many of us in the office had copies framed and hung on our office walls. That one was real. As well, I really like the photo that Vinnie took of me in my Grand Sport last July on the Milford track. It's my computer wallpaper today.

FWIW though, I think this thread's title and wording, does lead to some misunderstanding. If both the title and content of the first post said that this is not an ACTUAL cover, but more a TRIBUTE cover, the effort might be even more successful. JMO.

Great idea, we have a local guy who has been doing pictures on a make believe cereal box, great gift idea. Is this going to be available for a while? Some cars are already put away for the winter.
                            Thanks Again
