68, Looking for an inspection south of Flint, MI

I have found a 1968 that I am thinking of purchasing. I am to far away to inspect myself. Was wondering if anyone was south of Flint, MI that I could get to inspect the car. I would be happy to compensate. I also have photos and a brief description.

I was just by there yesterday...

I would suggest getting in touch with the MI chapter and asking them about members close to the Flint area, I am sure there are some out there.

If that does not pan out then you need to convince the seller to get a photo op in front of Zora's old house and that will be close enough to hear him drive by.

My one (1) experience with Top Hat John about 5-6 years ago is that he doesn't know much about Corvettes. I would suggest contacting the Chapter Chariman and seeing who may be in that area.

I have spoke with Top Hat, seemed like he knew what he was talking about. I also emailed the regional director and have not got a response yet. Thanks for the infromation.

Regional Director - do you mean Marilyn? She does not know him.

The current chapter chairman might know Top Hat, but again based on personal experience with my car I would not use him. I'm not sure how much more direct you want me to be.

Find someone who knows Corvettes. There are plenty on the east side of the state.

Patrick, thanks for your directness. I did email Marilyn to see if she knew the owner or the car. I also asked if she knew a good inspector. I am sure I will hear back from her soon.
