1957 Corvette Tires

Hi Gents,

Can you please suggest the correct vendor for OEM replacement tires for a 1957 Corvette?

I currently have sourced 2 of 3 apparent options to Coker. Just sorting info prior to making a purchase.

Dan, original suppliers were Firesotne (Deluxe Champion), B.F.Goodrich (Silvertown), and U.S. Royal (Air Ride). All were 6.70 X 15. If optioned with whitewalls the range in whitewall width was 2" to approx. 2 3/4", with the wider whites generally accepted on the earlier cars. As you know the '57 model year tires had no DOT markings. Assuming you want these for judging these are the specs you want to compare with retailers' offerings. The Driveline and Hemmings advertise sources. Search previous posts as there are comments on the Firestones.

Coker tire is the company most get tires from. You can get Coker tires cheaper from Corvette Central than from Coker.

If you buy from Coker, be sure you have the tires trued!!!!!!!!! TRUST me I know! Unless it's only going to be going on and off a trailer...

Universal tire Hershey PA often supplies oem tires for many companies. Good company

If you are going with Coker tires, check on buying them thru Summit Racing, I got a great deal on mine....
