Thank you, sir. Glad to see someone else that gets up early in the morning. I usually get up by or before 5:00 AM CST every morning even though I am retired.

Did you pick up the color difference between your Black headlight warning switch and Terry's Maroon one. More excitement!

Also about the check valves the 69 were all black there was also a difference in the size of the connection tubes they were 2 sizes on the 69 while 70 were all the same. If you go to the posting that Terry has above there is a photo by Mark Donnally reply #9 that shows the 2 side by side.

          Paul,
Good eye. I missed that. Time for another survey and a new thread. For now we know Terry's is an early car and mine is a late car.
Now if we could get Donnally off his soapbox we might have a good thread here.

Even though I am "retired" I am at work at 0500 to 0600 half the time. No laying around watching TV for me.

              Paul,

Long time back I had to change one of those micro switches, and I'll be darned if I can remember which one. I know a clue that will tell me (I had to change the connector on that side as well and I hid the splice up in the harness. If/when I can get the car on a lift I will have better access to the headlamp area on both sides and I can dig around and tell you which side was changed.

Short story -- don't get too excited about the maroon color there, it might turn out to be a false alarm. Also don't hold your breath for me to get it on a lift. It is pretty sedentary where it is, and if I do get it out and cleaned up it will go into a bag and all these searches for minutia will be over for this car. Of course if Roy hears some of us and gives those of us with 5-Stars another reason to bring our cars out that whole story could change.
