      Al -

Saturday overtime was not uncommon at Tonawanda and Flint V-8 in the mid- to late 60's; everything was running flat-out in those days.

I have NEVER judged a restored car that didn't receive a minor deduction for paint. I get it...I understand it but, one day one will be presented that looks like crap, er uh, I mean factory typical. I know someone will come forth one day with a 'typical' paint configuration on a restoration.

                Hope springs eternal.

Next time you happen to see the engine on the 11 mile red 67 L88 coupe, let us know what you think about the engine paint.

Sounds good, Cranky...if you say it's well done, I'm sure it is and I'll look forward to seeing it.
