Re: 78 Pace Car with 13 miles
You are right Matt ! That is the car we ( BUDS Chevrolet) found up in Michigan. Bought it from the original owner who bought it, tucked it away in his building and never looked at it again. It was covered in dust but preserved very well. I sold it just the way it sat. I had TV stations, newspapers and magazines all in to see it. Something about that dust made that car fun !Several members from this board also came to check it out !

Re: 78 Pace Car with 13 miles
Corvette Mike is one of my local corvette sellers here in Mass. and know him personally, and has sold quite a few of the 78 pace cars with little or no miles, a few years ago he had one with about 6 or 7 miles, still had all the plastic factory installed covers on seats and steering wheel, and never had the dealer prep. done. there is still a demand for them I guess.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: 78 Pace Car with 13 miles
Pretty, but not for me. I could not stand just looking at it and not driving it. AND, the dust would just drive me nuts.
Driving Corvettes is where its at for me. Don't need to rag them out or turn it into a DD, but I would have to drive it.
