Does anyone know who may have older Hemmings Motor News volumes from 1989 and 1990. I am researching the history of my 1966 427/425 Convertible. I recently spoke with a previous owner who stated he purchased the car from an individual back in 1989-1990 out of the Norristown Pennsylvania area and he recalls the add for the car possibly being in Hemmings Motor News! I know its a long shot but if I could find someone with all the volumes from 1989-1990 I may get lucky!!
We have to remember this was prior to ebay etc.. Hemmings Motor News was a very good source to advertise back then!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Call them and see if they are digitized.

I would also suggest searching the area papers from then. I've found lots of neat stuff searching PA papers from '72.

John, Ebay often has early issues of Hemmings. You might also post on the C2 Corvette Forum. I have asked the very same question and have had several members do Hemmings lookups for me. Good luck. Bill Gould

John -- I went into my vault and found 3 Hemmings isues from 1989 (July, Aug, Oct) and most of 1990. Any further details on how the car may have been described and the name and phone # that may have been included with the car ?
