Just an FYI...I just got my rooms there after I saw your post. No restrictions, rates $79 and $89 per night.

The Saralago Inn and Suites (Old Holiday Inn) (407) 396-4488 or on line at Seralagohotel.com has plenty of rooms available for $42.00 per night. Ask for the old guy rate!

It's on the same side of the street one hotel down. Been there for years and it's clean and they are happy to see us.

Can not be so. I re-checked the Maingate East, and they are all booked. No new reservations for quite some time now.

Hmmm.... Holiday Inn, Maingate east across from old town.. where I have stayed for the last 4 years.
Have reservation # and printed confirmation...PS: I did reserve on line dont know if that makes difference

I think that you guys are talking about two different hotels, Holiday Inn vs. Comfort Suites.

My apologies.

I didn't realize that there are more than a few hotels in the vicinity which carry "Maingate East" as part of their names. Sadly, naming names has joined the long list of things which have become complicated over the last 40 years.

My interest lies with the host hotel: Comfort Suites Maingate East.
