    1968-1971 lower alternator bracket ?

Would the lower alternator bracket be attached to a stud coming off the water pump and the other end of the bracket be attached to the exhaust manifold simular to a 64 327 block. pic would be great. Might have to make a modification to mine for headers. thanks in advance

68 with the 327 is one year only. 69-71 with the 350 might be what you're after. AIM will show it.

Here's a pic of the bracket on my 71 which does attach to the exhaust manifold and water pump. I believe this was the same arrangement for 69 & 70.....72 changed to a cast lower support.

          Gerard------

This same set-up was used for 1966-71 small blocks. For 1972 the generator mount was changed to a cast iron bracket which attached to the left side cylinder head.
