    Correct A.I.R. Pulley

My GM parts book lists 3917234 as the correct pulley for all '68-'72 sb's with A.I.R.

For '73-'74 the 3917234 is also listed for non a/c cars, but a different pulley is listed for C.A.C. (cars with a/c) - 3927116.

Does anyone know what the difference is between these pulleys?

Should my late (July build) '72 Lt-1 with a/c still have a 3917234 pulley?

    Thanks for the help,
    Chris

Chris, my L13 trim tag (July 13, 1972) LT-1 without a/c has the #3917234 pulley.Sorry I have no knowledge how it relates to the other pulley you mentioned.

Thanks Roy, that's helpful. Mine is L06.
I know the judging manual only lists 3917234, but I was just curious if late a/c cars may have had the other pulley.

the 234 is a deep groove pulley, 116 is not.
If your other pulleys are deep groove you should use the 234.

the 116 is a very common pulley widely used on low perf models.
