    66 Body-Off Restoration Question

The body came off my 66 BB a week ago. I plan on cleaning the underbody tomorrow using lots of acetone and rags. I started yesterday and noticed there was a bit of overspray which I believe is from its original paint job. No stencil marks or chalk marks so far.

    1) Any suggestions on cleaning the underbody?

    2) How much original overspray should one expect to find and where?

    Thanks for your help

    Hector

Personnally, I think acetone's a bit much. I'm using full strength Simple Green with good results.

      Hector,

I would consider Bill's observation regarding strength or means of cleaning. You could clean away valuble information. One can always step up to something stronger when necessary.

      .....just a thought. Good luck.
