'72 BB w/ C60 tipped fan paint??

I'm aware that the JG states that the fans are supposed to be painted gloss black. Just wondering what the best choice for paint would be. I sprayed one side yesterday with rustoleum Gloss black and it seems very shiny. Is a semi-gloss or satin more appropriate? Thanks!!

I used Krylon gloss and was very happy with the result. It has been judged a couple of times and never any comments about the fan being too shiney.

Good rule of thumb is the brake booster should be the glossiest thing under the hood. The fan would be one step down from that.
