    New crate motor source

I want to buy a Ram Jet 350 for my 1960 driver. I best price I can find is $5399 at a fairly-local dealership (I can save on the shipping). Does anyone out there have any source for these crate engines for a better price?

Justin, Scroggins-Dickey usually has better prices. Google them and good luck!

That's a good price. I don't think you'll find it for much less than that.

            Justin,
The price you posted is pretty good.
One thing, be sure that whoever you buy from is selling the Ramjet 350 with the MEFI 4 software. This version uses a wideband O2 sensor. Previous versions did not use the O2 sesor.
I put a Ramjet 350 MEFI 4 in a 62 Corvette a few years ago. A great engine especially in a Corvette. Some minor modifications are necessary.
Email me if you have any questions.

Justin, have you checked Modern Chevrolet? Call them at 336-722-4191 and ask for Benny Proctor. Tell him I told you to call.

If you are going to step up that much, why not buy the new 454 small block?

Joe, I saw one at Modern Chevrolet a couple of weeks ago. My bud there said that they are a bear. Don't have a link, but they have a ton of good stuff on the floor at their performance center

This is a perfect example of how a restomod project quickly escalates out of control.
